Recommended by nearby shop owners! Although dine-in came in takeout containers and didn’t look fancy, the food was really good. The shark fin soup was addictive, and the fish balls tasted freshly made. The wontons were delicious too, and the staff was lovely. A small, charming spot we all liked a lot.

Great jumbo shrimp wontons! Just like in Hong Kong. Reasonably priced around 11 bucks a bowl. Service was quick and attentive where we were there.

The wontons are definitely the star of the dish. It’s so big and they were not stingy with the filling. Each bite you take, you can taste the shrimps. The beef is also very tender. As for the curry fish ball and the veggie, they’re normal, nothing amazing. I would just fine back for the wontons alone. Be warned though, there’s a lot of tourists during the weekend so expect a long line if you plan to visit during the weekends

For no frill, simple wonton and beef noodles canto style, this is the spot. No reservation, with a hole in the wall vibes. Probably max 4 ppl for ideal seating, larger can be challenging. There is a cash vs credit card cost so if you are looking to spend less, bring some cash. The menu is at each table and quite easy to manage, you select noodles, soup, and toppings, and are charged accordingly. I got the wonton and beef stew noodles, with duck noodles. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the wontons were plump and very fresh. The beef was tender and had enough chew. Soup was also flavorful enough and not too salty so feel free to drink up! Pro-tip, use some white pepper and chili-oil to spice up your noodles and soup. Carefully, start with a little it can be quite spicy.

This was easily some of the best wonton noodle soup I’ve ever had. The noodles had the perfect texture, and the wontons and fishballs were impressively large and flavorful. For the quality and portion size, the value is unbeatable. The staff was incredibly kind, and our food came out quickly. While the space is a bit limited, the fast service means you likely won’t have to wait long for a table. Highly recommend!

I had my first visit to Maxi Noodle with my sister, and we both had the best experience — 10/10 all the way! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted so warmly and immediately felt at home. We were seated within about 5 minutes, and the customer service was fantastic the entire time. The food was incredible — the beef wontons were definitely our favorite! You can really taste the care and passion Maxi puts into everything she makes. But the best part was getting to see Maxi herself. As the owner, she truly makes the place special with her warmth, kindness, and dedication. It was so great catching up with her, and it’s obvious how much heart she pours into her restaurant and her customers. Maxi, I’m so proud of you and everything you’ve built. You’re amazing, and I can’t wait to come back and enjoy more of your delicious food!

Went alone on a Friday at 11am/12pm and it wasn't packed. It's definitely a spot for locals and deserves more attention for how amazing the wonton noodle soup is here. I was truly impressed by the wonton's specifically— they're very huge and full of meat and flavor. They're also handmade which is a plus because the price for the meal is so cheap. Comments on the chili oil that they have on the table: deceivingly spicy the sauce wasn't red so i assumed the spice level wouldn't be too much but the moment i tasted it, it hits you so hard, but in a good way. Overall: 10000/10 and I hope to come back again soon.

I was thrilled when Maxi’s Noodle opened in Chinatown! The original location in Flushing was always too far for me, so having it closer is such a treat. I decided to order takeout and initially wanted the fried fish skin, but unfortunately, it was sold out. Instead, I opted for the wonton and dace fish ball noodle soup, and I couldn’t have been happier with my choice. The broth was incredibly flavorful and comforting—absolutely delicious! The wontons were generously sized, filled with plump shrimp and black fungus, which I loved. The dace fish ball was decent but didn’t stand out as much. I also got an iced Hong Kong-style milk tea, which was perfectly balanced—not too sweet. Overall, the flavors were authentic, and I highly recommend this spot. I’m already looking forward to coming back and exploring more of their menu! PSA: paying in cash is slightly cheaper than using a credit card.
